New waste facility
Client:
Kedco Howard Waste
Project:
We are currently working in partnership with technology provider Kedco and the Enfield based company Howard Waste to develop a 60,000 tpa, 12MW gasification facility to treat C&D waste wood.
Solution:
The support we provided has included selecting the project partners, identifying the site, waste stream and technology (and technology provider), liaising with LB Enfield and assisting in preparing a planning application, liaising with the Environment Agency on the technical aspects of the project and preparation of the Environmental Permit, general project management and dialogue facilitation among all parties.
Outcome:
We have secured planning permission for the site in August 2011. Feedstock contracts are in place and the project is now progressing towards financial close.
