Construction Procurement Training

Remade South East
Project:
Remade South East is running a one-off training event for up to 40 attendees from the construction sector to introduce the policies and practices of sustainable procurement. LRS was asked to provide technical support to ensure that the presentation materials would provide the best appropriate information to the delegates.
Solution:
LRS Principal Consultant Graham Randles, who has managed the Mayor Of London's Green Procurement Code since 2006 and who was on the development panel for the new British Standard in sustainable Procurement (BS8903), reviewed the materials.
Outcome:
Graham made recommendations in relation to gaps in the information and provided a more detailed analysis of the legislation and drivers which might impact on the delegates, in relation to their procurement behaviour. This information was provided to Remade South East in such a way that it could be incorporated directly into the training materials to make them more robust and more appropriate to the target audience.
